Gregg W. McKenzie, DDS

Since 1980, Dr. Gregg W. McKenzie has been providing his patients with exceptional periodontal care, focusing on improving their dental and overall health.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree in microbiology at McNeese State University, Dr. McKenzie earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at Louisiana State University Dental School in New Orleans, LA. Dr. McKenzie furthered his education, completing a periodontal residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. McKenzie believes it is important to stay on the pioneering edge of periodontics. He is a member of many prestigious professional organizations and keeps up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The Southern Academy of Periodontology, South Carolina Society of Periodontists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association and the Greater Columbia Dental Association.

Dr. McKenzie has volunteered his time and talents on medical mission trips to Mexico and Africa and currently donates his time to local dental mission work. He also participates in men’s Bible studies and prayer groups. Dr. McKenzie enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, grown children and granddaughter.
